We are building the conference we wanted to attend as delegates. One where the debate is serious, the agendas are worth arguing over, and every room is run with care.

Success for us is simple. Every delegate leaves HCMUN with skills they did not have when they arrived, and with memories they will still be talking about years later.

01

Skills that last

Research, public speaking, negotiation and drafting. Delegates practice the work of real diplomacy, guided by experienced chairing panels.

02

Memories worth keeping

Three days of crisis, ceremonies and friendships made across schools. We want the conference to be remembered, not just attended.

03

Built by students

From the Secretariat to Staff & Security, every office is run by students, rooted in Jerusalem and open to schools across the country.

A Letter from the Founder

Dear Delegates, Advisors, and Friends,

Every great idea needs a beginning, and ours started somewhere unexpected: on a bus to Prague. I was running on only a few hours of sleep when the idea for a new Model United Nations conference came to me. I called Ahmad Abu Asab right away and told him everything, and that conversation was the start of the journey that became the Holy City Model United Nations.

Over the years, I have attended many conferences. Along with the great moments, I've seen the problems that too often come with them: unfair treatment, bias in the committee room, and long, exhausting sessions that leave delegates drained instead of inspired. I believed there had to be a better way, and I set out to build it.

HCMUN is our answer. It is built by students who have been through many conferences themselves, and it is made for the students who will take part in ours. We aren't trying to be just another conference. We want HCMUN to be the most memorable one you will ever attend.

Our team is working hard to get every detail right. My promise to you is simple: you will meet new people, leave with new skills, and make memories that last long after the closing ceremony.

I look forward to welcoming you to HCMUN in 2027.

With warm regards,Luay AmeeraFounder & Secretary-General

The Consequences of Choice

Every committee this year turns on a decision point: a vote, a ruling, an order given or withheld. Delegates will argue not only what should be done, but who carries the weight of it afterwards.
