Terms and conditions.

These terms apply to everyone taking part in HCMUN 2027, including delegates, chairs, staff, media officers and advisors. By submitting an application, you agree to them.

  1. 01

    Participation

    HCMUN is open to students who register through a participating school or through public registration. The eligible age and grade range is announced with registration.

    Every participant must complete the official application form. Submitting a form does not guarantee a place. Places are confirmed by the Secretariat.

    English is the official language of the conference. All committee sessions, speeches and documents are in English.

    Allocations

    Committee and country allocations are made by the Secretariat and the Conference office based on preferences, experience and availability. Allocations are final once published, unless the Secretariat decides otherwise.

  3. 03

    Fees and payment

    Fees, payment methods, deadlines and the refund policy are published with registration and sent to accepted participants by the Finance office. A place is only secured once payment is received, where a fee applies.

  4. 04

    Code of conduct

    All participants are expected to treat delegates, chairs, staff and guests with respect, in and outside the committee room. Harassment, discrimination, bullying, plagiarism and any behavior that endangers others are not tolerated.

    The Secretariat may warn, remove from a session, or dismiss from the conference any participant who breaks these terms, without a refund.

    Dress code

    Formal or semi-formal attire is required during all committee sessions and ceremonies.

  6. 06

    Attendance

    Participants are expected to attend every session of their committee on time and to follow instructions from chairs and Staff & Security.

  7. 07

    Photos and media

    HCMUN photographs and films the conference. By taking part, participants agree that photos and videos in which they appear may be shared on our website and social media. Anyone who prefers not to appear can tell the Press & Media team at registration.

  8. 08

    Personal information

    Information submitted in application forms is used only to organize the conference and contact participants. It is not sold or shared outside the HCMUN team, except with a participant's school where needed.

  9. 09

    Safety and responsibility

    Participants are responsible for their own belongings. Participants under 18 should have permission from a parent or guardian to attend. HCMUN is not responsible for loss, damage or injury that is not caused by its own negligence.

  10. 10

    Changes

    The Secretariat may update the schedule, venue, committees or these terms if needed. Important changes will be announced on this website and on our Instagram.
